ANAIS NIN
Sky Blue Press is dedicated to preserving and promoting the works of Anais Nin.
A Café in Space: the Anais Nin Literary Journal exists to promote scholarship and study and now the circle widens as a “new breed” of Nin readers and scholars is emerging. They remind us that beyond fan sites and adoration, there is really only one way to understand and appreciate Anais Nin, and that is to read her work. Sky Blue Press has also published Anais Nin's unexpurgated version of the 1939 title, The Winter of Artifice, in facsimile form, including Nin's lost story, "Djuna," which is the fictionalized Henry-June-Anais saga, which has been lost for 70 years until now. We have also published the most comprehensive study of Nin's fictional characters in the form of Benjamin Franklin V's Anais Nin Character Dictionary and Index to Diary Excerpts.
Please support Sky Blue Press, The Anais Nin Trust and other small press operations by continuing to purchase books the old fashioned way and not by disseminating text, scanning pages of diaries and posting unauthorized content and photographs all over the internet.
We welcome submissions of articles or proposals having to do with Anais Nin and her circle and you will find many Anais Nin related links on our links page.
